Mrs. Dempsey is a graduate of Nazareth College and received her
J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA)
and the Appellate Practice Committee. Mrs. Dempsey has given lectures for Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs on topics such as civil litigation. Aside
from handling personal injury litigation, Mrs. Dempsey concentrates much of her time preparing briefs and arguing appeals at both the Appellate Division and Court of
Appeals. Prior to founding Dempsey & Dempsey in 1975 with her husband, John, she was an associate with the firm of Magavern, Magavern, Lowe & Beilewech,
