Mr. Maloney obtained his Bachelors degree from Canisius College in
1977, and his law degree from Albany Law school in 1980. Following graduation from law school, Mr. Maloney worked as Assistant Counsel to Senator Jesse Present in
the New York State Senate. He eventually returned to Buffalo and has been practicing in the Buffalo area since 1982, specializing in medical malpractice, products
liability, and wrongful death litigation. He has been invited to lecture at numerous seminars in various areas of personal injury law. Mr. Maloney is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA); Birth Trauma Litigation Group;
the American Board of Trial Advocates; the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (NYSTLA); the Erie County Bar Association (Board of Directors 2004-2007); the New York
State Bar Association; and the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association (President 2004, Vice President, 2003). He is admitted to practice in all New York State courts,
as well as the U.S. District Court for the Western District of New York.
